Calm Down From A Panic Attack
In the words of Jason Isbell, “Anxiety, why do you always get the best of me?” Anxiety is the worst, but the next time you or a friend is about to or is having a panic attack use this hack.
To calm down from a panic attack, describe something in detail. So if it’s a friend having a panic attack, ask them to describe their first pet — it’s name, the color of the fur, what it’s favorite toy was, where did it sleep, etc. This will force your attention on memories and away from the panic.
