Once slated to become the next fresh-faced leader of the Republican Party, Paul Ryan has quietly slid to the back of the room. Ryan has been in politics his entire professional life, and he has made quite the pretty penny for his work. Ryan was Mitt Romney’s Vice President during the 2012 Election and from there he went on to become Speaker of the House. As House Speaker, Paul Ryan had a divisive rein with both sides of the political aisle seemingly discomfited with his efforts. While Ryan’s work as House Speaker is all but done, a career in politics is still possible either inside of Washington D.C. or outside of it as a consultant.
