Pete Ricketts is the Governor of Nebraska and the son of Joe Ricketts. Joe Ricketts founded TD Ameritrade and it is through this avenue that Pete Ricketts found the majority of his wealth. Ricketts is also a co-owner of the famous Chicago Cubs, a baseball team, along with several other members of his family. Ricketts has been catapulting up the national board ever since he and his father began working closer and closer with President Donald Trump. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Pete Ricketts take on a more prominent political position within the Republican Party in the coming years.
