George W. Bush – $35 Million

Is there any political figure in U.S. history more divisive than George W. Bush? President from 2001 to 2009, W was in charge during the infamous attacks on 9/11. Dubya, as he is also known, was the man in charge when the War in Afghanistan officially began. With a famously difficult tenure in the White House, Bush at least has an enormous bank account to fall back on. Bush inherited his wealth from the oil industry that his father worked in, and he is also a part owner of the Texas Rangers, a professional baseball team. Bush also earns plenty of money for his speaking engagements and book deals.
